Credited as being one of the major contributors to revive the Filipino Martial art of Kali/Eskrima/Arnis, Bustillo is recognized by the Council of Grandmasters of the Philippines as Ninth degree Black Belt (Grandmaster) in Doce Pares Eskrima.
